Mission Statement:
The mission of the Friends of the Library (FoL) is to stimulate and support the use of library resources and services that the library offers and to receive gifts, endowments and bequests. FoL volunteers operate the non-profit Friendly Book Store, located at 125 E. Maley Street. Sales from donations of books and magazines are directed to children’s services, the Arizona collection, and enhancement and renovation of library facilities. The Friends support the Library programs and also offers “per-class” financial assistance to needy students, as determined by Cochise College staff, in lieu of a scholarship.”
